WHAT TO EXPECT
Quick run down of the process:
- We have our session, usage of photographers time & talent.
- Sneak peek image is posted to the Facebook business page, client is welcome to ‘share’ using share button.
- Within the week you will be emailed with the link to your online gallery. This will be password protected. Family can also purchase their own images via gallery.
- I work differently to a lot of other photographer, I provide my clients with viewing of ALL of the images from their session on the gallery, allowing YOU to decide which photographs are your favorite. Clients love this! The main reason I do this is because what may be my favorite image, may not be your favorite.
- The gallery is viewable for 5 days. Making your selection is easy online, one click of a button.
- Editing : Every image is carefully retouched and enhanced. Your favorite images are delivered either by digital download or keepsake disc, along with signed ‘Print Release’. This document will allow you to print/share your images at your own leisure.
- Client can also purchase the USB option, this comes in a decorative keepsake box/bag.
- You will have the option to purchase ‘Additional Images’ the more you purchase, the cheaper they are. Package info provided in the information kit supplied to you at booking.
- Edited file will be ready within 3 weeks, or sooner with the request of a expedited order.

Your photo session will be relaxed, fun and enjoyable for everyone involved. Looking for natural poses. I love to capture how families and couples naturally interact and enjoy each other. During an average session, we spend time taking photos and allow breaks for kids to have snacks, rest or whatever it takes. Photo sessions are never rushed.
The best advice I can give is to make sure you’re well rested on the day of your photo session (that goes for kiddos too!), eat something and stay well hydrated. Believe it or not, bad moods can show up in pictures! The better you feel, the better you’ll look. Try not to have other appointments on the shoot day so you are relaxed and not rushed.
When you arrive for the session, don’t be afraid to dance, skip, twirl and laugh! It’s more like a play date really! Looking for those cheeky moments, happiness and real expressions- The one’s you know and love!
Emotion in photography is what I live for. During your session I will of course get the “granny” shot. The “granny” shot is that shot your grandma wants to hang on her wall where everyone is looking and smiling at the camera, but the majority of our session will be centered around capturing connection between you and your loved ones and enjoying the raw moments you are in.
LOCATIONS
Beach, Park, bay, overgrown grass field, rustic places, historic/ urban or even your own backyard.
After we discuss your vision for your session, I can help decide on a perfect location. To book a session, all you would need to do is make a $50 deposit to secure your slot, I will email you a ‘Booking Confirmation’ and ‘Information Kit’ to help you prepare for the shoot. I will guide you along, share ideas and understand what it is you’re trying to achieve.
WHAT’S THE SESSION LIKE?
If we are on location, we will move around from place to place to capture and utilize a variety of colors, textures, scenery and light. If we are in the studio all of the focus is on your child, I welcome you to be involved, I ask one parent does stay with us for the duration of the session so we can entertain your child , make them smile and feel comfortable. Niceville studio is 700 sq feet, props displayed, seating area, equipped with a changing table and multiple shooting areas and cold refreshments.
I move quickly and change my mind often, So bear with me. It’s not stiff and formal. On location we will walk around and chat and stop at spots I think would photograph nicely. I’ll direct you if needed but most often you look best when you’re interacting naturally. In our Pinterest-inspired culture, it’s understandable that you may come with some ideas you’ve seen elsewhere.
Even tho my sessions are timed I will not stop till I achieve what I’m after.. Believe me 🙂
